Okowa, Uduaghan, Osunbor for Delta NUJ lecture

Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and former governor of Edo State, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor are among eminent Nigerians expected at this year’s annual lecture of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State council.

The lecture with the theme ‘Good Governance, Journalists and Social Media’ billed for Tuesday February 21 in Asaba is one of the activities lined up for the union’s annual Press Week, which commences today (Sunday) with special prayers and praise worship.

While Governor Okowa is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour, Dr. Uduaghan will preside at the lecture to be delivered by Prof. Osunbor.

National President of the union, Comrade Waheed Odusile will be the co-chief host alongside the state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah.

Osunbor, a Professor of Law, is a two-term senator who represented Edo central senatorial district between 1999 and 2007, before serving as governor of the Heart Beat state only eighteen months.
