The Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC) has arrived in London ahead of the 2026 Unity Cup, where Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles, will seek to defend the title they won in 2025.
The delegation, led by the club’s National President, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi, landed in London on Sunday in preparation for the invitational tournament scheduled to hold from May 26 to May 30.
Nigeria will open their campaign against Zimbabwe on May 26, with the winner advancing to the final to face either Jamaica or India.
ANFASSC was also prominent during the 2025 edition of the Unity Cup, where the Super Eagles emerged champions, providing vocal and colourful support throughout the competition.
Speaking shortly after the team’s arrival in London, Ogunjimi said the supporters club travelled to ensure the Super Eagles enjoy strong backing during the tournament.

“We are here because the Super Eagles must never lack support anywhere they play. Every match and every tournament is important to us as supporters, and we are fully ready to stand behind the team once again,” Ogunjimi said.
He assured the players that the supporters club was prepared to play its role as the team’s “12th man” during the competition.
“Our drums, trumpets, voice and spirit are ready.
The players should expect maximum support from us because we believe in this team, and we want them to succeed,” he added.
ANFASSC also played a major role in supporting the Super Eagles at the last Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where the three-time African champions secured a third-place finish.
