Speaking further, Mr Mfongang called on the corps members to be “committed to the task of nation-building by using the instrument of NYSC’s Community Development Service (CDS) platform to initiate and execute projects that will uplift the lives of the people of the State.”
He concluded by calling on them to deploy their “youthful energies in promoting what is good, valuable, noble and beneficial to all citizens irrespective of tribe and tongue while shunning negative acts like cultism, drug abuse, internet fraud among other social vices which are capable of putting them in harm’s way”.
In the colourful and well-attended closing ceremony, a total of 1,800 corps members successfully completed the orientation exercise.
