The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Oyo State has partnered with Landnest Homes and Properties to provide training for 300 corps members in the state. The initiative aims to equip corps members with the necessary skills and knowledge to become self-employed in the real estate sector and achieve financial independence.
Oyo State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Odoba Abel Ocheh, expressed his gratitude to Landnest for their support in creating job opportunities for corps members. He commended the firm for empowering them to become job creators instead of job seekers.
During a meeting with Landnest management at the NYSC Camp in Iseyin, Abel praised the company’s commitment to the development of corps members. He highlighted the importance of the training program in providing income-generating skills and enhancing their overall experience during the service year.
Camp Director for Batch 2024 A/2, Mrs. Okoli Janet Ehie, also commended Landnest for their efforts in empowering corps members with self-employment and job creation skills.
Landnest co-founder, Oladeji Solomon, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to the progress and development of Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of empowering Nigerian youths to become job creators rather than job seekers.
Mr. Areo Olusola Michael, another co-founder, mentioned the company’s mission to provide affordable and sustainable housing in Nigeria to bridge the housing deficit. He highlighted the Nubia City estate project in Oyo State as a step towards achieving this mission.
