NYCN will support those assisting indigent Nigerians – Spokesman

The Director of Communication, Mohammed Auwal, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has said the Council would continue to recognise and support those assisting indigent Nigerians.

Thr promise came on the heels of a recent recognition of the the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jimolnat Integrated Services Limited and President of Made in China Goods Traders Association of Nigeria, Oluwole Samuel, as an Ambassador of Peace, for his humanitarian service.

Auwal, in a statement yesterday, said the award was to encourage well-meaning Nigerians to emulate Samuel by assisting the underprivileged and contribute to national development.

He said: “We will like to bring to your notice and that of the public some of our executive decisions as we are rounding up our tenure which culminated into the prestigious honour given to some individuals who have distinguished themselves in uplifting many of our youths by putting them on the part of economic self reliance.

“These individuals have been committed and dedicated to youth empowerment and the betterment of the society.

“Particularly is the untainted and unalloyed selfless sacrifices of Mr. Oluwole Samuel, the MD/ CEO of
Jimolnat integrated services Limited and also the President of Made in China goods traders Association of Nigeria.

“Mr Oluwole Samuel has done tremendously well for our organization, intervening in critical issues by supporting our projects and programmes.

“His humanitarian support for youth development Initiatives and open mindedness which he has displayed has long endeared him to council.

“Through his network over 500 youths have been sponsored abroad for entrepreneurship training and skills acquisition.

“Today those youths are doing greatly well in their various fields of endeavour and contributing positively to national development.

“In the ight of this, the National Executive Council of our organization deemed it necessary to honour him in a show of appreciation and encourage him not to relent but continue to soar higher and do more for the youths and the nation in general.

“We do hereby proclaim on him our prestigious institutional award as An Ambassador of Peace. By this award, he is to be addressed as Ambassador Oluwole Samuel, henceforth.

“The award has been ratified by the congress and the we are glad to proclaim such on an individual who is never relenting in doing philanthropic works.

“The primordial motive of the world’s intellectual class to study the past and present with a view of laying predictive emphasis on the future is the world’s most humanistic endeavour.”
