NURTW boss commends members over Lagos LG elections

The Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, has commended members of the union for their peaceful conduct during the just concluded local government elections in the state.
He said the peaceful conduct of members was a testimony that the union members had embraced peace. He also commended the state police command led by Mr. Fatai Owoseni and other security agencies for ensuring that the election went without any high.
Agbede congratulated Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for overseeing a peaceful, free and fair elections, noting that the success recorded by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in all the 57 local councils was an indication that Lagosians appreciated all the projects being executed by the state government.
According to him, the overwhelming success recorded by the party is a glowing tribute to the solid foundation laid by the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu administration at the beginning of this democratic dispensation in 1999 and assured the new LG chairmen of continued support and cooperation of his union.
