Telecommunications operator, ntel, has unveiled “The Next Frontier,” a new corporate strategy aimed at repositioning the company as an integrated digital infrastructure, connectivity and real estate enterprise.

The strategy, launched in Lagos, is built around the company’s BET Agenda, which comprises three growth pillars – Beam, Eden and Titan – designed to drive innovation, infrastructure expansion and asset optimisation.

The company said the initiative marks a major milestone in its transformation as it continues efforts to regain its spectrum assets while leveraging strategic partnerships to strengthen its position in Nigeria’s telecommunications industry.

As part of the Beam pillar, ntel introduced WakaGo, a global e-SIM solution targeted at international travellers, and AirFibre, a high-speed fixed wireless broadband service aimed at providing reliable internet connectivity for businesses.

Under the Titan initiative, the company outlined plans to expand its infrastructure business through tower development, fibre connectivity, duct infrastructure, colocation services and infrastructure-sharing solutions for telecom operators, enterprises and technology firms.

The company also unveiled Eden, its real estate development platform, which seeks to unlock value from NatCom’s property portfolio through commercial and residential projects.

Among the flagship developments announced are Eden Place, a premium commercial complex in Lagos; Nova Place, a commercial development in Port Harcourt; and Terenna Court, a multi-storey residential apartment project in Abuja.

Speaking at the unveiling, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NatCom Development & Investment Limited (trading as ntel), Soji Maurice-Diya, said the strategy goes beyond business transformation.

According to him, the initiative is designed to build an integrated ecosystem that enhances connectivity, supports businesses, promotes digital inclusion and contributes to Nigeria’s economic development.

He noted that over the past year, the company has strengthened stakeholder engagement, pursued strategic partnerships with mobile network operators, engaged creditors constructively and undertaken operational restructuring to improve efficiency and maximise the value of its infrastructure assets.

“The Next Frontier represents our commitment to building an integrated ecosystem that connects people, empowers businesses, drives digital inclusion and creates sustainable economic value for Nigeria,” Maurice-Diya said.

The event attracted stakeholders from government, the telecommunications industry and the private sector, including Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), GbengaAlade; Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Chief Idris Olorunnimbe among others.

The company said the strategy positions ntel to leverage opportunities across digital connectivity, infrastructure development and real estate while supporting Nigeria’s digital economy and long-term economic growth.
