Seyi Vibez has established himself as Audiomack’s reigning African streaming champion, accumulating over 2.2 billion global streams on the platform.
The Lagos-based artist now holds the distinction of being Africa’s
most-streamed act on Audiomack and ranks second globally, surpassed only by American rapper YoungBoy NBA, according to publicly available platform data.
This milestone comes two years after Audiomack confirmed Seyi Vibez as the platform’s most-streamed African
artist of 2023 Turntablecharts, demonstrating his sustained dominance.
His closest African competitors include Asake, the first artist from the continent to cross the 2 billion threshold,
and Burna Boy, whose current tally stands at 1,967,293,305 streams as of December 13, 2025.
Vibez’s streaming dominance stems from a meticulously crafted discography designed for
longevity. Albums such as Billion Dollar Baby, NAHAMciaga, and Thy Kingdom Come have
fostered devoted listener communities, weaving themselves into the daily listening habits of
audiences across Nigeria and throughout the global diaspora. When Fuji Motodropped on
November 14, 2025, the Audiomack platform had already become finely tuned to the artist’s
signature sound and rhythm.
The 14-track release represents more than a routine album launch—it functions as both
cultural manifesto and strategic expansion, fusing Yoruba traditional music elements with
cutting-edge production techniques and internationally appealing sonic textures. Songs
including “How Are You,” “Mario Kart,” and “Pressure” demonstrate Vibez’s emotional
vulnerability alongside his broadening artistic vision. The album’s title track “FUJI MOTO”
has already accumulated over 250 million streams, establishing itself as one of 2025’s most consumed and debated musical offerings.
The album’s production lineup represents a significant milestone for Nigerian street-pop.
American hitmakers Mally Mall and Dr. Luke contributed their expertise to Fuji Moto tracks,
marking a notable collaboration between homegrown Nigerian talent and established
international producers. The project also features appearances from Nigerian pioneer
Olamide alongside American rappers French Montana, Trippie Redd, and NLE Choppa,
reflecting Vibez’s growing cross-continental influence.
The streaming figures reveal a pattern of enduring cultural impact. Vibez’s 2.2 billion streams represent the highest total ever achieved by a Nigerian and African artist on Audiomack—a record secured while competing directly with the continent’s most established names. His sustained success flows from cornerstone tracks including “NAHAMciaga,” “Loseyi Professor, ” and “FUJI MOTO,” which generate reliable daily engagement across Africa and diaspora communities worldwide. Through his work, Fuji-infused street-pop has matured into a complete, exportable musical genre possessing its own infrastructure and cultural capital.
At the core of Vibez’s artistry lies a complex spiritual and cultural identity. Themes of Orisa
consciousness, Yoruba heritage, and Lagos street experience permeate his lyrics, delivering
multi-layered narratives that feel intimate, raw, and deeply genuine. This synthesis of
spiritual awareness, melodic sophistication, and street-level authenticity has solidified his
expanding international audience and earned widespread critical recognition.
The 2.2 billion streams benchmark represents far more than individual success. The Fuji
Moto chapter marks a fundamental shift in how Nigerian music positions itself on the world
stage. Seyi Vibez functions at the convergence of cultural tradition and technological
advancement, proving that authentically street-rooted artistry can achieve global supremacy
without artistic compromise. Throughout 2025, he hasn’t merely joined the dialogue surrounding African music’s international ascent—he’s fundamentally restructuring it, one track and one stream at a time.
