A former Minister for Power and Steel, Chief Goddy Ogbaga, on Tuesday, said Ndigbo would be ready to take shot at the Presidency of Nigeria in 2019 and described Governor Rochas Okorocha’s statement as anti-South East interests.

Chief Ogbaga, however, urged Igbo to come together and form a formidable block that would enable them succeed in the project.

Said he, “We will be ready to take a shot at the presidency in 2019. Nobody has ever vomited sugar already put into his mouth and that is the situation with Igbo presidency. All we need to do is to come together and form a bigger and stronger force that can make this possible”

He, however, disagreed with Okorocha on the need for the South East to wait until 2023 before contesting for presidency of this country.
