The Nigerian Diaspora Forum (NDF) has demanded a thorough investigation into the killing of a Nigerian, Prince Ebuka, allegedly by the South African police.
NDF Country Director, Chike Amadichi, in a statement yesterday, explained that Ebuka, 43, was shot in Danielskuil, Northern Cape, South Africa, on the 17th of May 2024.
“The Nigerian Diaspora Forum (NDF) expresses its deep concern over the recent tragic event in Danielskuil, Northern Cape South Africa on 17th May 2024.
“Report reaching NDF is that a 43-year-old Nigerian citizen, Prince Ebuka, was extrajudicially killed by the South African Police.
“We urge the public to stay informed as we closely follow developments and cooperate with the authorities to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation.
“Our commitment remains strong towards advocating for justice and upholding human rights for all Nigerians living in the diaspora. Further details will be shared as they become available to us,” he said.
