Nigerian Nationwide League One, on Thursday in Abuja, sealed a whopping N964 million title sponsorship deal.
While announcing Nigeria’s leading lottery companies, New Year Mega Lottery (NYML), as its official title sponsor, the leadership of the third tier league cadre disclosed the deal is spread into four years.
The collaboration between the Nationwide League One and lottery outfit is intended to effectively promote and elevate the status of grassroots football in the country, aiming to establish it as a prominent Nigerian spectacle and one of the most flourishing and appealing leagues on the continent.
Representing New Year Mega Lottery at the event, Ms. Obiorah Emmanuella, Head of Corporate Communications, said: “We are thrilled to enter this sponsorship deal with the NLO and engage a large audience through our brand. The sponsorship deal between NYML and the NLO is a four-year agreement worth N964 million.
“Through this collaboration, we are also excited to connect with the future generation of football athletes at the grassroots level across Nigeria and help them grow.

Also speaking during the signing and unveiling ceremony, NLO chairman, Silas Agara, commended the lottery outfit for coming on board as the title sponsor.
