The Acting Zonal Coordinator, National Film and Video Censors Board, Aliyu Sani, has expressed concern over the low submission of Hausa films for censorship by the Board.
He disclosed this during a visit to the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Censorship Board, Abba El-Mustapha, on Tuesday.
Sani explained that the visit was aimed at strengthening the existing relationship between the two organisations, especially in terms of collaboration in data collection for films.

He emphasised the need for film censorship and data collection, highlighting the benefits of these activities to the Northern film industry.
Sani appealed to the Kano State Censorship Board to educate its stakeholders on the importance of collaborating with the National Film and Video Censors Board.
In response, El-Mustapha expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged to collaborate with the National Film and Video Censors Board.
