From Uchenna Inya, Abakaliki

The member representing Ikwo/Ezza South federal constituency, Ebonyi State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Chinedu Ogah has advised Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to exercise restraint in the way she is going about her alleged sexual harassment allegation against the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

Ogah said Natasha’s attitude was capable of affecting women inclusion and participation in the affairs of the nation.

In a statement issued in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, Ogah who is the Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, regretted that Natasha’s attitude was coming when the clamour for more women inclusion and participation in governance has reached its crescendo and will likely receive consideration in constitutional amendments.

He therefore urged women of the country to call the Senator to order to avoid avoid endangering their chances in the country.

Ogah said “Senator Natasha’s attitude will affect women participation in politics and constitutional amendments.

“Some sections of the constitution will be amended to accommodate more women in the affairs of this country and protect women right.

“No right thinking man will vote for sections of the country that will protect women interest based on her scandal and attitude.

“With the way Senator Natasha is behaving, it will affect all these chances women have in this country.

“I call on women of this country to call her to order to avoid damaging their future. This is because men will be feeling threatened if women are giving more quota in the governance of this country because of what Senator Natasha is doing.”
