- Nasarawa Assembly Commends Gov Sule for Urban Development Projects

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on Urban Development has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his commitment to urban development, particularly the construction of a flyover and underpass in Lafia, the state capital.
The committee chairman, Hon Musa Saidu Gude, expressed the Assembly’s full support for the project, recognizing its significant impact on the city’s infrastructure and traffic flow. He emphasized the committee’s dedication to collaborating with the governor and the State Urban Development Board (NUDB) to achieve further progress in urban development.
“We will continue to work together in order to ensure urban development in the state,” Hon. Gude stated.
The committee also commended Governor Sule for his broader infrastructural development initiatives across the state, including the dualization of Akwanga road and other impactful projects. Hon. Saidu assured the NUDB of their continued support and collaboration.
NUDB Managing Director, Engr Mohammed Wada Yahaya, expressed gratitude for the committee’s support and acknowledged Governor Sule’s commitment to funding the board’s activities. He outlined ongoing projects undertaken by the board, including the Lafia flyover and underpass, Akwanga road dualization, a bridge construction in Karu LGA, and the Kari-Kari Ado Kasa road construction.
Engr. Yahaya reaffirmed the board’s dedication to initiating policies and programs that promote rapid development within the state.
