The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that it will require 87.4 million dollars over the next six months to collaborate with nations, partners, and other stakeholders to limit the current Mpox outbreak.
The World Health Organization said in a statement on Tuesday that the fund will be used to carry out important actions described in the worldwide Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan, SPRP, which was announced on August 26.
It stated that “the SPRP is a comprehensive framework developed by WHO to guide global response to Mpox, emphasizing surveillance, research, equitable access to medical countermeasures and community empowerment.
