The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has advocated emplacement of strict measures by all tiers of government that will eradicate corruption and address the insecurity, and other forms of social ills in the country.

He gave the charge during a press briefing in Lagos ahead of a four-day international conference of the church, tagged: ‘What God Has Determined Shall Be Done’, which will commence on January 4, 2024, at the Chosen Ground, Ijesha-Lagos. It is organised for training of leaders for the new year.

Muoka, who was represented at the press briefing by the Public Relation Officer of the church, Pastor Louis Chidi, stated that “God wants to prove his power that the entire heaven, and earth and everything therein, are under His control and it is what He determines that shall be done.”

He appealed to the powers that be, to urgently address the corruption, insecurity, social ills, and acrimony in the country that have become a thing of concern to the whole world. He noted that the socio-economic challenges in the country have troubled many people.

He added that a number of people have been losing their lives in hundreds on daily basis across the globe through wars, hungers, collapse of businesses, climate change, and loss of jobs, saying: “Today, there is little to hope for the future. But God is not caught off-guarded. Therefore, we need God’s interventions.”
