Four beauty and tourism ambassadors have emerged from the 2026 Miss Tourism Nigeria and Miss Cosmo Nigeria pageants, earning tickets to represent the country at international competitions in China and Kenya.
Precious Amogu, representing Abia State, clinched the Miss Tourism Nigeria 2026 crown, while Damilola Remi-Fakoya of Lagos emerged Miss Cosmo Nigeria 2026 at the grand finale held in Lagos at the weekend.
Omega Richard of Taraba State won the Miss Tourism Africa Nigeria title, while Delta State’s Eloho Eric was crowned International Tourism Queen Nigeria 2026.
The pageant, tagged “Game of Crowns” and held under the theme, “Peace Through Tourism,” brought together contestants from across the country who were assessed on cultural representation, leadership, social impact and tourism advocacy.
Veronica Adoga of Benue State emerged runner-up in the Miss Tourism Nigeria category, while Sarah Makinde, representing Edo State, finished runner-up in the Miss Cosmo Nigeria contest.
In the Miss Tourism Africa Nigeria category, Deborah Emmanuel of Ondo State emerged runner-up, while Ruth Efretuei of Akwa Ibom State finished behind Eric in the International Tourism Queen Nigeria category.
Beyond the competition for crowns, organisers said the pageant was designed to develop young Nigerians who could use their platforms to promote the country’s tourism potential, cultural diversity and social causes at home and abroad.
The four winners will consequently carry Nigeria’s flag to different international competitions.
Amogu will represent the country at the Miss Tourism World competition in China later this year, while Remi-Fakoya will compete at Miss Cosmo International between December 2026 and January 2027.
Richard will represent Nigeria at the Miss Tourism Africa international competition in Kenya towards the end of the year, while Eric will travel to China for the International Tourism Queen competition.
Organisers said the 2026 edition sought to move pageantry beyond physical appearance by positioning it as a vehicle for tourism promotion, cultural diplomacy, youth empowerment and international representation.
