Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, in a strategic move to boost the relationship between the ministry and the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC), has paid a courtesy visit to CBAAC’s Director-General, Aisha Adamu Augie; setting the stage for an exchange that would foster creativity and commerce.

Oduwole said the initiative aims to help young people, especially those in the diaspora, connect with their African heritage, fostering a strong sense of identity. “We’re working to position Nigeria as a cultural leader globally,” she said.

CBAAC DG said the visit underscores the importance of cultural excellence and innovation in driving economic growth, highlighting CBAAC’s critical role in promoting African arts and culture.

The minister was given a tour of the museum and exhibition sections, showcasing African arts and culture.
