Mikano donates 10 Maxus T60 pick-up trucks to Lagos Security Trust Fund

Mikano International Limited, through its auto division, Mikano Motors, last week, lived up to its reputation as a socially responsible corporate citizen when it donated 10 units of the popular Maxus T60 pick-up to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).

The vehicles, which were presented to LSSTF officials during a brief ceremony at Mikano Motors’ showroom on Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, were donated in support of the Lagos State government’s efforts to enhance security operations across the state.

This was disclosed by the national operations manager of Mikano Motors, Mr. Syam Abdulkadir, at the official handover ceremony.

The donation was received on behalf of the state by the executive secretary and chief executive officer of the LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, who was accompanied by other top officials.

At the event, representatives of both organisations underscored the importance of public-private collaboration in enhancing security infrastructure and operational capacity across the state.

With Dr. Ogunsan to receive the 10  Maxus T60 pick-up trucks were the admin director of LSSTF, Mr. Adegbola Lewis; and the executive assistant, LSSTF, Mrs. Adaobi Nwankwo.

The Maxus T60 donated to the LSSTF

is a tough, mid-size pick-up assembled in Nigeria by Mikano Motors at its Karameh City plant in Ogun State.

The vehicle is driven by a powerful Mitsubishi  engine which flaunts fuel efficiency as one of its unique selling points.
