Nigerian comedian MC Edopikin delivered a spectacular and unforgettable experience at the second annual edition of his flagship show, Edo In Eko, held at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The show, celebrating the cultural blend of Edo State and Lagos, offered a vibrant mix of comedy and musical performances. A standout moment was the host’s unique music-comedy act, which used Reggae and Hip Hop to share nostalgic stories, leaving the audience “in awe.” The event also showcased emerging artistes in a music battle.
The stage was graced by established comedy heavyweights, including I Go Dye, Destalker, Koboko Master, and Casino, who performed alongside rising stars like Yannist and Privileged Son. Music icon Duncan Mighty electrified the crowd with his evergreen hits, complemented by performances from other artistes like Fabomo.
A host of celebrities and veterans were in attendance, including Ali Baba, Julius Agwu, Kenny Blaq, and Josh2Funny.
Reflecting on the success, MC Edopikin stated, “The energy of the crowd was electric. This event was more than just a comedy show – it was a celebration of our rich cultural heritage and a testament to the power of laughter and entertainment to bring people together.”
