Lucky Dube, Okosuns’ daughters clash at Africa Meets Reggae Festival

Nkulee Dube, daughter of the late South African reggae legend, Lucky Dube and Faith Okosuns, daughter of the late Ozzidi King, Sonny Okosuns, will join other music stars that will perform at the third edition of Africa Meet Reggae Festival holding at the Hockey Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos on November 26, 2016.

Organised by Victor Essiet of The Mandators fame, with the aim of celebrating reggae music, the show will also parade African and foreign music stars including Big Bob (Sierra Leone), Redfyah (Ghana), Ilest Nana (Ghana), Tuface Idibia, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Sule Alao Malaika, Oritsefemi, Seyi Shay, Presh of KC Presh, Captain Blazee, Saint Peters, Isaac Billyman, Jethro Lion, and Emperor Zig-Zag.

Others are Eljai (Belize/USA), Patoranking, King Wadada, Small Doctor, Majek Fashek and Victor Essiet himself.

Speaking on the show, Essiet said despite the challenges being faced by him, the positive socio-cultural and economic achievements of the past shows have encouraged him to keep the soul of reggae music flying across the Africa continent.
