Lotto attendant set self ablaze in Osun

A lotto attendant simply identified as Seyi has reportedly set himself ablaze in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State.

It was gathered that Seyi committed the suicide in his lotto kiosk when he deliberately locked himself and set himself ablaze.

The incident, according to findings, happened on Friday morning some hours after Seyi had left his family at home.

A resident of the area who pleaded anonymity, explained that Seyi resumed to his kiosk, locked himself and pour petrol on himself.

“We discovered that fire had taken over, and the shop was in flame before we could attempt to rescue him, he has died.

“When the fire was quenched, his family came to claim his corpse for burial.”

The spokesperson of the Osun Police Command, SP Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.
