In a captivating narrative of resilience and musical prowess, Akinbola Elizabeth Oluwasola Raphael aka Lizee Raphael, is poised to make waves in the music scene with her debut EP, “Lizee not so Little,” set for release today, January 3, 2024.

Lizee Raphael hails from Oyo State and she is an Afrosoul artist, who has carved a niche for herself with a unique pink haircut and a blend of black by the side, capturing hearts not just for her small stature but also for the elegance and heartwarming energy she brings to the stage.

Lizee Raphael is the youngest of four siblings from her parents and is a Mass Communication undergraduate at the National Open University of Nigeria, combining her studies and pursuing her passion for music. With a background in web development, she has become a prominent figure at events in Abuja, sharing stages with stars like Sabinus, AY the comedian, Josh2funny, and Kennyblaq among others.

Acknowledged by industry giants such as Tunde Ednut, Simi, Mr Eazi, and Guchi, Lizee’s upcoming EP is eagerly awaited, which features a collaboration with international music artiste Ugoccie.

Reflecting on her journey, Lizee Raphael said, “ She started singing at the age of 15 and went into music professionally in 2021, garnering accolades and recognition from major companies and artists.

With seven singles to her credit, including “Hello God,” she’s gears up for her first body of work, “Lizee not so Little EP,” consisting of seven tracks with a mix of previously released and new songs.

What makes this EP truly special is the resilience it embodies. Lizee continued recording even during a challenging period marked by a health crisis that led to a surgery in March 2023. The EP, born from this introspective time in 2022, includes tracks like “Breet,” “Makanaki” featuring Eneez, and “Man in Love,” showcasing her artistic versatility.

Despite facing challenges like bullying due to her small size and financial constraints, Lizee Raphael remains undeterred.
