LG Electronics has donated a solar-powered borehole to Ayeye community in Ibadan North West Local Government Area of Oyo State. The latest borehole project by the LG Electronics in Ayeye is the eighth solar-powered borehole to the residents of different communities facing critical water scarcity in Nigeria. The company promised that it would continue to give life-changing access to clean water to Nigerians.
The Mogaji of the Balogun Ibikunle family, Rear Admiral Lateef Akintola (retd), who spoke on behalf of his family and the community, expressed deep appreciation for LG’s remarkable gesture.
