A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, and a youth advocate Engr. Nwabueze Onwuneme, has appealed to those who lost out in the party’s gubernatorial primaries in Anambra State to accept it as God’s will and rally round Hon.Tony Nwoye for the sake of the party’s victory in the forth coming polls.

He stated that in every contest, only one person would emerge as the winner.

Onwuneme, in a chat with newsmen, in his Umuahia home, maintained that the Anambra gubernatorial election was very important foo the APC in its quest to fully make in-roads to the south-east zone of the country.

He added that all hands must be on deck to realise the dream  and also called on all and sundry that love the party most especially those who contested with Nwoye to look beyond their personal ambitions but rally round him to make sure that the party wins at the polls.

He believed with APC in power in the state, the people of Anambra State would enjoy the benefits of change brought about by President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC.

Speaking on a petition brought against Hon. Nwoye by Senator Andy Uba, Onwuneme appealed to Sen. Uba to eschew any form of bitterness or anger and give Hon. Nwoye the needed support and backing an elder would give to a younger brother.

Onwneme also expressed belief and confidence in the Hassan Lawal-led appeal committee  and charged it not to be hood-winked into cancelling a widely adjudged free, fair. He said he primaries was devoid of the usual presidential preference of any candidate.

Onwuneme also enjoined the youths of not just Anambra State, but the nation at large,  and all genuine believers and advocates  in the “not too young to run campaign” to now work the talk by campaigning and garnering support for the APC which has shown faith in the “not too young to run campaign ” as well as Nwoye, who he described ‘a product of the campaign’ in order to actualise the change mantra.

Onwuneme also urged Nwoye to continually reach out all stakeholders and the people in the grassroots and to ways  avail himself to wise counsel and advice from elders.
