The agency gave an update on the incident, which occurred in the FESTAC area of the state, in an X post on Thursday.

The post reads, “The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) is aware of a widely circulated video on social media involving a survivor of alleged Domestic Violence identified as @anniesglowlagos on TikTok.

“On 25th March 2026, the case was charged to court at Court 6, MBA Ajegunle.

“The accused has since been remanded at Kirikiri Maximum Security Custodial Centre pending further proceedings.
