Having released his much touted Extended Play – EP, fast rising Afrobeats and Afro fusion singer, Popoola Mubarak Ayomide, but fondly called King Mubaraq, who has been one of the talented artistes disturbing the underground music scene, has hinted that he would be doing something bigger this year.
However, his EP, which consisted of melodious songs like ‘Bite Me’ Laga Dat’, ‘Change’, among others, is really doing fine on different African charts. He seems embarking on an African tour before finally exploring the other parts of the world.
“I am happy the EP is not doing bad and we are not stopping right here. We still have a long way to go. We will soon kickstart the Afrcan tour before we move further.”
King Mubaraq, aside the tour which he tagged ‘The Past Tense Tour’, said he has bigger plans for the year but he still prefers to keep mum until the appropriate time comes.
“I have a lot to offer this year but I don’t want to burst out now. Subsequently after the tour, I will let the cat out of the bag.”
