Keshi’s Illah home undergoes renovation for burial

Renovation works are going at the personal house of the late former coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi at Illah in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The remains of the late footballer and former captain of the national team will be interred at his home in Illah.
Final burial ceremonies for the late tactician who died last month will begin in Abuja on July 26 while the interment will be in Illah on July 29 and outing service on July 31.
Commissioner for Information in Delta State, Mr. Patrick Ukah who inspected the renovation works yesterday told newsmen that the state government was assisting the bereaved family to keep the building in proper shape.
According to Ukah who was conducted round the premises by the late footballer’s elder brother, Sylvester and nephew, Ebuka Ofuonye said the renovation has become necessary in view of calibre of persons coming to pay their last respect for the fallen hero.
Ukah assured that the state government would participate actively during the burial ceremonies.
