The agency’s chairman, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Yaro, who made these known shortly after meeting with the board members and 21 LGAs Hajj guides of the agency in Birnin Kebbi, assured the intending pilgrims that their welfare during the 2026 Hajj exercise would be better.
According to him, “we have just concluded meetings with board members of the agency and Hajj guides for the 21 LGAs. We have reviewed the successes in the 2025 Hajj exercise, and observed areas that would be improved upon in the 2026 exercise.”
Aliyu-Enabo said that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) had already announced a tentative deposit of N8.5 million as the provisional fare for the 2026 Hajj as agreed, pending final negotiations on all service contracts.
