The Katsina State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the results of the governorship election conducted last Saturday.
They vowed to mobilise all legal means to challenge the outcome which saw the emergence of the candidate of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Umar Dikko, as winner.
Lado told a press conference on Monday that the declaration of the APC as winner “is rape of democracy.”
Also speaking at the programme, the the Director-General, Lado/Atiku Campaign Council, Katsina State, Dr. Mustapha Inuwa, alleged that violence marred the polls.
According to him, “we thank all PDP members for the overwhelming support before, during and after the polls.”
