The Emir of Kano Aminu Bayero has called on the Lives And Livelihood Funds (LLF) to sustain the funding of development projects in the state.
The Emir stated this when he received the a leadership of the Fund and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), in his palace on Monday.
The monarch expressed appreciation to the Fund for investing in the people of the state while assuring them of his continued support.
“There is no better time than now to fund development projects not only in Nigeria ,but globally judging by the problems being faced by the global economy” the Emir stated..
LLF is a joint vision of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and other corporation partners funding agricultural projects in the state.
The team leader, Adam Sheriff told the Emir that they were in the state to show the donors how their funds were being spent, including the projects executed with their funds.
He expeesswd satisfaction with what is on ground and assured the Emir of additional fundings and developmental projects in the state.
