The flight from Libya was three and half hours.
Their chartered flight will refuel in the ancient Northern Nigerian city before it makes it way to Abuja and then Lagos.
The Super Eagles resolved not to play tomorrow’s 2025 AFCON Group D qualifier against home team Libya after the ill treatment they received on their arrival in the North African country.
The NFF have protested this fiasco to CAF, who have promised to investigate and take action.
