The Jordan Nwora Foundation Basketball Camp concluded successfully in Ghana, drawing commendation from organisers, sports officials and regional basketball administrators after discovering a number of promising young talents for the future.
The final day of the camp, which focused on grassroots basketball development and talent identification across Africa, witnessed strong participation from coaches and scouts from the Ghana Basketball Federation.
President of FIBA Africa Zone 3, Samuel Ahmedu, praised the quality of players on display, describing the camp as a worthwhile initiative capable of driving basketball growth within the region.
Ahmedu noted that the level of talent discovered during the programme was impressive, with several standout players already being considered for inclusion in Ghana’s Under-16 national basketball team.

Among the top performers recognised at the camp were Rema Mouiche, who emerged winner of the girls’ 3-Point Contest, while Dylon Cudjoe claimed the boys’ category. Mohammed Abdul Rahman won the Dunk Contest, Nana Boateng emerged King of the Court, while Al-Gabas Abdul Aziz triumphed in the Skills Challenge.
Hashim Musah capped an outstanding outing by being named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the camp.
Organisers believe the success of the Ghana edition further highlights the growing influence of the Jordan Nwora Foundation in grassroots basketball development across Africa.
The camp ended with renewed optimism about the future of basketball in the region, as young athletes departed with hopes of progressing from grassroots competition to international representation.
