As sign that he has stepped up his game as an international businessman, business mogul, Jimoh Ibrahim has taken steps to make his business global. The wealthy investor is believed to have relocated the headquarters of his conglomerate to the United Arab Emirates.
Spotlight gathered that the Igbotako, Ondo State-born maverick businessman took the decision so that he could efficiently coordinate the activities of his investment across Africa, Europe and Asia. Of course, critics would say that the businessman has not achieved much success in many of his investments here in Nigeria, but Jimoh believes that going global will rub-off positively on many of his struggling businesses at home. As a first step, the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife-trained lawyer, a couple of months back, opened a new corporate office in Dubai to oversee his growing overseas operations. Now, he has moved the major activities of his operation to Dubai where he has been accorded the status of an investor. In Dubai, Jimoh is said to own a 5-star hotel and plays big in the real estate business there. Aside this, the businessman also reportedly owns a lovely mansion in an exclusive area of Dubai where all their super rich citizens live.
