Jigawa council earmarks N27m for projects

Jahun Local Government Council of Jigawa State, has earmarked over N27million for the provision of water and construction of drains, Alhaji Yusif Kirikasamma, Acting Chairman of the council, has said.

Kirikasamma spoke, on Tuesday, in Dutse, in an interview.

He said that the council would provide water in 11 wards at the cost of N4.2 million, while N6 million would be spent for the rehabilitation of Idanduna boreholes.

The chairman said that N2.7 million would be spent on the construction of drains at Harbo Tsohuwa, while the construction of one block of Islamiyya School at Chiromawar Kanwa would gulp N2.7 million. (NAN)
