‘Rising singer, Musa Destiny Nasiru, better known as  JahJah is set to release the  video for his groovy song ‘Okene’

 

In ‘Okene,’ JahJah captures the essence of African beauty, specifically highlighting the women of Okene in Kogi State.

 

 

 

“Okene is a song that appreciates African women in general. It makes reference to a certain place in Africa called Okene. Okene women are beautiful inside and out. The song is a tribute to all African women worldwide, irrespective of their race, celebrating their unique qualities. Okene, being my hometown, holds a special place in my heart.We will be releasing the video very soon .I see it as my own Christmas gift to my fans”, he said.

 

 

 

Reflecting on his musical evolution, JahJah, who initially gained recognition as the vocalist of the now-defunct music group DE2, emphasizes the distinctiveness of his voice. “I stood out among the group members back then. I’m proud of my voice, and I cherish elements that promote African culture. I love portraying the beauty of Africa through my music.”

When questioned about his dream collaborations, JahJah expressed a desire to work with Akon and Davido.

 

He praises Akon for his distinctive voice, stating, “Akon’s voice is unique; when he sings, you know it’s Akon.” Regarding Davido, JahJah admires his drive and dedication, citing, “Only a few would pursue music with such passion, especially if their father is as affluent as Davido’s.”
