In a welcome turn of events, Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Liz Anjorin have decided to end their long-running social media feud.
The two stars had been embroiled in a public battle for some time, dividing their fanbases.
Ojo had previously filed a lawsuit against Anjorin for N500 million, accusing her of defamation and cyberbullying.
However, fans can now rejoice as both actresses have agreed to abide by the court’s advice and put an end to their online hostilities.
The conflict stemmed from Anjorin’s alleged online attacks on Ojo. The case garnered significant public attention, and many were relieved to see the two actresses appear in court together on Thursday, June 6th.
A video shared on Instagram by blogger Temilola Sobolola captured Ojo revealing that the judge had urged both parties to cease their fighting.
Anjorin also confirmed this information. Both actresses also left the courthouse in good spirits. Notably, Liz’s husband, Lateef Lawal, was present and appeared cordial with Ojo, further indicating a possible reconciliation.
