The Isuikwuato Local Government Chapter  of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has thrown its weight behind former Minister of Mines and Steel development, in the crisis rocking the state chapter of the party.

In a statement titled “Vote of Confidence and Message of Solidarity on Dr Uche Ogah”, signed by the LGA Chairman Chief Royal Okereke and Secretary
Chikere Chinonso and other executives and stakeholders on March 5 2023, the members warned Chief Ikechi Emenike and his cohorts against acts of disrespect to Ogah and other leaders of the party in the state, asking him to answer to charges of alleged anti-party activities leveled against him and his illegal parade of followers.

They declared that Ogah has been financially supportive, strong by character and has always shown strength whenever and wherever it comes to party values and matters.

“We have no reason whatsoever to doubt his judgments or capacity and capability, his ways of reasoning or decisions, ” they said. “We therefore endorse all his decisions and actions as it relates to party matters and stand completely”.

They maintained that any issues purportedly emanating from Emenike or elsewhere with a view to maligning Ogah’s character or personality should be disregarded as mere hot air and sentiments without facts.

They saluted Ogah for his efforts in making sure that APC didn’t not collapse in Abia State and for surrendering one of his befitting offices to the State as well as Single handedly sponsoring the party in Abia. “We also than our state chairman, Hon Goldie and his excos and therefore pass vote of confidence on Him.
The release was signed by the LGA Chairman, Royal O.M. Okereke ,Monday Kanu, his vice, 14 other LGA Excos, and 10 ward Chairmen and their Secretaries.
