The federal government has expressed readiness to contribute its quota to global stability, especially in the energy sector, amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
Speaking in a statement issued on Saturday, Rabiu Ibrahim, the Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, said that Nigeria is poised to lend help as the world is in need of oil.
“Nigeria is ever ready to contribute to energy security around the world. Whatever Nigeria can do to ease tension, it will do. The world needs oil, and Nigeria is there,” Ibrahim quoted the minister as saying.
