Moved by the determination and desperation of eligible Nigerians to participate in the forthcoming presidential and other elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has again extended the deadline for collection of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to February 5, 2023.

The announcement for the extension was contained in the statement signed by National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, made available yesterday.

The statement further disclosed that the decision was taken after getting situation report from the Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) during the meeting held on Friday and rectified at management meeting on Saturday.

It also announced that the collection period has further been extended by an additional two hours and will start at 9am and end at 5pm daily including Saturdays and Sundays.
