US-based Nigerian businesswoman and CEO, Fojo Media Productions, Faith Ojo, has promised to facilitate great investments in the movie industry.
Ojo, who just concluded the shoot of a romantic comedy, The Reunion, said that she’s bringing investors from the United States to raise the bar in Nollywood.
“My goal is that both the young and old will embrace The Reunion. This will motivate me to bring investors from the United States to invest in the Nigerian movie industry,” she stated.
Ojo added: “My vision is all about creating jobs in the country. I have always been very passionate about African arts and not just about Nigerian movies, hence I came back to be hands-on to run the business and know its intricacies.”
The Reunion tells the story of four ladies played by Mercy Johnson, Tana Adelana, Mercy Aigbe and Lilian Osoro, who had deep secrets and during their anniversary party, a couple of these secrets started unveiling.
Produced and directed by Thomas Odia, the movie features Jide Kosoko, Chioma Emeruah Chigul Frededrick Leonard, Jaiye Kuti, Femi Jacobs and Lateef Adedimeji.
