The International Human Human Rights Commission (IHRC) has congratulated the incumbent Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly and Governor-Elect, Francis Nwifuru on his victory in the just concluded Governorship and House of Assembly election, describing it as a reflection of the people’s will for good governance.
In a statement by the Commission’s Ambassador at Large and Head of Diplomatic Mission to Nigeria, Ambassador (Dr.) Duru Hezekiah said that the Governor-Elect has proved his worth , therefore, will capitalise on such for quality leadership for the state. He further reiteratd:
“On the occasion of your brilliant election to Ebonyi State’s highest office, IHRC is pleased to extend a warm and heartfelt congratulations to you, as well as our good wishes for success in the discharge of your duties”.
“With your Manifesto on The People’s Charter of Needs, you may be rest assure of our Organization’s constant readiness to work with you towards maintaining and consolidating intergovernmental partnerships and responsiveness (to the needs of the people)”.
“I urge you to strengthen the civic alliance between the government and the people of Ebonyi State alongside your political opponents in maintaining national solidarity, cooperation, development, and promotion of peace, security, and stability; contributing to harmonization and inclusive government”
