… As the Anambra Warriors confront El -Kanemi

BY PAUL EREWUBA

DESPITE their 11th position on the log, IfeanyiUbah with 33 points, still believe they have the magic wand to turn the table and go ahead to clinch the top spot at the end of the league race.

The Anambra Warriors will this weekend host El Kanemi Warriors at Nnewi in an all Warriors showdown.

FC IfeanyiUbah’s striker, Bello Korfarmata is confident the team can get the job done.

Korfarmata who won the title twice with Heartland had a tear on his thigh against Lobi Stars in the Federation Cup round of 32 in June where he got the only goal and three weeks after he is back to boost his team’s league title aspiration.

“I had a tear on my thigh in the Federation Cup round of 32 and I’ve been out since then but thank God I’m back and ready for action. I’ll be up for selection against El Kanemi “ Korfarmata said.

Despite being 10 points adrift leaders Wikki Tourists, Kofarmata insist that the Anambra Warriors won’t give up.

“We may not be in a very good position in the NPFL but we aren’t going to give up.

We shall continue to push and hopefully achieve our top three target,” he added.
