Upcoming music artist, Ulasi Chigozie Larry, popularly known as Kool P, whose latest hit track titled, ‘’Put Call’’, is currently enjoying massive airplay on the airwaves, believes mediocrity can’t help his musical career, insisting the competitiveness and quality in the industry keeps him on his toes as he seeks to conquer the industry nationally and globally.
“My passion for music transcends copy, or remix songs that are rife within the music industry, especially among upcoming artists who are in hurry to break forth.
“I painstakingly ensure my songs are of high quality, it is important for my growth on both personal and professional level. I have big dreams. I want to conquer Nigeria and do well internationally so I can’t afford to lower my standard,” he said.
The Enugu State University of Science and Technology graduate also admits that besides his passion for excellence that another factor that keeps him going is his faith in God and embracing patience as a virtue and principle.
“I believe so much in God and adhere strictly to principle of time and patience as a virtue. It is how I see things and is working for me. I waited on God and bid for my time. It is working for me and my career,” he stated.
Besides his latest hit, ’’Put Call’’, which is currently enjoying massive airplay, the Anambra state born artist has two other tracks, Eze Nku featuring veteran igbo rapper Phyno, and Solange featuring former DMW member, Peruzzi respectively.
The 38-year-old is signed on to record label, HKgang entertainment.
