hon. Emmanuel Olanrewaju Bamigboye is the Chairman, Mushin Local Government in Lagos.  In this interview, he shares his favourites.

Favourite drink

Water is my favourite.  It is natural.  It is good for the body.  No other consumable liquid compares with water. It is always acceptable to the body.

Favourite leader

My favourite leaders are Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon. They both possess unrivalled leadership qualities. That is why they are reckoned with from far and near.

Favourite car

I don’t have passion for cars.  I just see owning a car as a necessity.

Favourite colour

I don’t have a favourite colour.  I wear what is available.

Favourite weather

I prefer cool weather. Our weather is very pure compared with what obtains in Europe and America.  The only challenge is the state of our environment. We need to sanitise it.

Favourite holiday destination

I prefer America.  I have been to Atlanta and Texas and enjoyed the brief period I spent there. I was in London too. I also enjoyed the place. The weather was okay.  It doesn’t make you develop catarrh.

Favourite book

I love reading the Bible because the Bible is always relevant. It equips you with knowledge and understanding about life. The Bible is always new. There is nothing you want to know that is not in the Bible. When you are conversant with the Bible, it provides you an in-depth knowledge about God.

Favourite music

I prefer gospel music. It is music that is spiritually inclined and some of our indigenous music.  They enrich our sense of history.  I also love the music of King Sunny Ade, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, Ebenezer Obey and co. I appreciate songs that enrich knowledge.

Favourite food

I don’t have passion for food.  I eat whatever my wife prepares.  That has always been my practice.
