For a young model who has never attended a fashion or modelling course, and who was not signed on by any agency because of her diminutive height of “5.3”, Thacutegeminme is living her dream as a model.
The internet celebrity, whose real name is Iyomaterie Okeoghene Gift Camille Taiwo, is one of the most sought-after brand ambassadors and influencers in Nigeria.
Currently a brand ambassador for Glean Skin Care and Rixari Skin Care, she also campaigns for trimandfitng (a health and beauty brand), FineX (a clothing brand) and also Suruka Nature gift and Patricia.com, a cryptocurrency company.
The 22-year-old, on her birthday, June 17, posted on her Instagram page @thacutegeminme: “I’m very grateful to be alive cause the past one year has been nothing but challenging for me. What the devil thought would destroy me, God took care of very well. I’m grateful for all the lessons learnt and how strong all those challenges made me become. Happy new year to me as I turn +1 today. I promise myself to let the past be in the past, no more dwelling on the past, no more regrets, I’m finally letting go of everything and I pray God helps and guides me when making decisions concerning my life, I pray God leads me in the right path from now, I pray God guides and protects me.”
While she is popular in Nigeria, Thacutegeminme has also gained some visibility on the international scene. “Social media is a stage without boundary. It is helping me in my aspiration to become a global model,” she avowed.
She further disclosed: “I want to devote the next few years to modelling for international brands. I’m working towards that. Soon, the dreams would materialise.”
