How I made my first personal movie — Seun Yale

Seun Kolawole Yale, professionally known as Seun Yale, is a creative director in movie production who hails from Ijara Isin Local Government of Kwara state Nigeria.

He studied Business Administration at the Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria, Kaduna State Nigeria, and bagged a Master Class with the Hollywood Institution for Film Making, Directing and editing.

Seun Kolawole Yale started an online Master class with the Hollywood film institute after completing his Higher National Diploma from Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria, and had the opportunity of directing the movie The Mirage, as an assistant director after which he continued his strides in the industry.

Seeing himself in a bigger industry, fortunately the film was a success, Seun Yale was contracted to work with the Northern Film Forum. It wasn’t an easy task according to him, but today he has played a lot of roles in so many top movies which have been listed on his profile.


Over the years Seun Yale has directed, produced and assisted in film making like: The Mirage (assistant director) for Genesis production, Say no to electoral violence (An Assistant director, Northern film forum), The Delivery man (assistant director and editor), Mukaddas (Director), Roadside empire (producer, Director, Editor), Hierarchy of Evil (Assistant Director and Editor) in collaboration with Skyrell Entertainment Nigeria, and a couple of other music videos in the Nigeria music industry.

Seun Yale is also the founder /CEO of Yale visuals studio Kaduna. He has also worked along side Nollywood prolific actors and Directors like Tina Mba, Jibola Dabo, Steve Andrew Skyrell, Sani Danja, Ricardo Agbor, Sani Muazu, Mofe Duncan and so many other artistes.
