In a bold move to redefine creative direction for young artists, Hope Odabi, public relations strategist, author, and founder of The DGM House, hosted The Clarity Network, a workshop and book launch designed to equip emerging artists with tools to navigate the fast changing music business.

The event took place at PopCentral Cultural Space, Lagos, drawing industry figures, creatives, and thought leaders from across the Nigerian entertainment landscape.

Themed “Empowering emerging creatives with the tools insight and structure to grow intentionally” the gathering featured insightful conversations on personal branding, consistency, monetization, and the importance of community. The interactive sessions were built around four powerful panels: Learning and Owning Your Sound, Standing Out in a Saturated Industry, Monetizing Your Talent, and Consistency, Network & Community. Each session gave attendees a chance to learn directly from experienced professionals who have helped shape the modern African sound.

Among the lineup were leading industry game-changers including talent managers, producers, PR executives, and A&Rs who shared practical insights on turning passion into structure and clarity into opportunity.

A major highlight of the day was the official launch of Odabi’s new workbook, “Wetin Be The Plan? A Roadmap for Emerging Artists,” which provides creatives with actionable steps for building sustainable careers. Available both in print and on Selar, the book has been widely praised for its practicality and relatable tone that bridges the gap between art and business.

Speaking after the event, Hope Odabi expressed deep gratitude to the panelists, partners, and attendees who made the first edition memorable. She noted that “The Clarity Network is more than a workshop, it’s a movement designed to empower creatives to find direction, courage, and consistency in their craft.”

With plans already underway for the next edition, Odabi aims to expand the initiative beyond Lagos, bringing its transformative message to other creative communities across Africa. Her growing influence continues to position her as one of the most promising voices in Africa’s evolving creative and literary space.
