Hon. Prince Odianosen Okojie, the distinguished Member representing Esan North East and Esan South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Mainstream), has extended his heartfelt felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of the Great Benin Kingdom, on the glorious occasion of his birthday and coronation anniversary.
In his tribute, Hon. Okojie described Oba Ewuare II as a towering symbol of dignity, divine wisdom, and cultural authority, whose reign continues to illuminate the ancient Benin Kingdom with peace, unity, and accelerated development. He stated that the monarch’s visionary leadership has rekindled the spirit of Edo greatness, restoring global honour and respect to one of Africa’s oldest and most revered kingdoms.

Okojie said. “Your reign has reawakened the moral and spiritual consciousness of our people. Through your foresight, courage, and steadfast pursuit of peace and justice, you have preserved the cultural soul of the Benin Kingdom and projected it as a shining light to the world.”
Hon. Okojie lauded the Oba’s commitment to social harmony, education, youth empowerment, and cultural diplomacy, describing him as a monarch whose moral authority commands deep reverence both within and beyond the shores of Nigeria.
He noted that under the reign of Oba Ewuare II, the Benin Kingdom has witnessed an extraordinary renaissance marked by peace, stability, and a renewed sense of identity and purpose.
