The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has congratulated the State Commander-General of Hisbah, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, on the conferment of an honorary doctoral degree of letters (Dr) on him by the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, during its 42nd convocation ceremony recently.
The Governor extended the message when he received the award recipient at the commencement of the 31st Kano State Executive Council meeting at the Governor’s Lodge in Kwankwasiyya city. This was contained in a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa in Kano yesterday.
“This recognition is a testament to your outstanding contributions to Islamic scholarship and your tireless efforts in promoting morality and societal values in Kano State and beyond,” he said.
As the Commander-General of the Kano State Hisbah Board, your dedication to eradicating immorality and fostering a more just society has been exemplary. Your commitment to Islamic scholarship and education has earned you widespread respect and admiration,” added governor Abba Kabir.
He expressed delight that Daurawa’s hard work and achievements have been acknowledged by one of the nation’s premier institutions of higher learning as the honour not only reflects his personal excellence but also brings pride to Kano State.
The governor assured of the Kano State Government’s continued support to Malam Daurawa for more devotion of his precious time to serving humanity and Islam in so many aspects of life.
He, on behalf of the government and people of Kano, prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to guide and bless him to continue rendering his services to the community with wisdom, knowledge and compassion.
